EVENT VENUE HOST INSTRUCTIONS
 

​Bowling:

• 8 students per lane

• The concessions stand closes 15 minutes before rotation ending

• Put bowling balls back on racks when done

• Get bowling shoes if you're wearing boots or shoes that will scuff

• ***Each venue host is responsible for letting groups know when to rotate

Ice Skating: 

• Huddle students up upon arrival to explain rules and instructions

  • ​Broomball: teams of 3. First to 3 wins. Keep sticks below the waist. Sign up your team and be ready for your name to be called to play

  • When you are done with your skates, please return them to the place you got them to a worker (rental stand)

  • Have them line up down the wall next to the bleachers to receive skates

• Organize broomball games

  • first to 3 wins, or a 7-minute timer (feel free to adjust the time or score based upon how many students are waiting to play)

  • assign one person to referee (make sure they keep it safe and keep score)

  • assign one person to organize teams for the next game

• Run and organize skating games

  • Use the provided microphone and music to run the games

    • ​4 corners, limbo, red light green light, etc. ​play music in the background

Sky Zone:

• Help Sky Zone staff ensure students are following the rules and being safe

• Help hand out socks to students as they arrive. 

• ***Each venue host is responsible for letting groups know when to rotate

Soccer City:

• Huddle students up upon arrival​

  •  ​Explain what is happening on each field. Refer to the map below*​

• Organize and run dodgeball, soccer, kickball, and flag football with groups. 

  • assign adult leaders to each field
